Chevrolet is one of the best known brands in automobile manufacturing and a Chevy pickup is a classic vehicle to own. The company was founded in 1911 by William C. Durant although was sold to General Motors in 1917 and since this time Chevrolet has been GM’s best known and highest selling brand.

Despite the US version of the vehicle being discontinued in 2004 the Brazilian version is still produced to the present day.
Although the s10 was discontinued in the US, Chevy trucks are still being constructed and the present day models include vehicles such as the Colorado. The Chevy Colorado is a mid size pickup which was introduced in 2004 to replace the Chevy s10 pickup truck. This model was designed by General Motors operations in America and Brazil in conjunction with Isuzu and the car is currently manufactured at production plants in Thailand and the USA. It can be purchased with 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive versions are available. The Colorado can also have a regular length or extended length cab and the choices available mean the pickup can be easily be fitted around your requirements.
Other models of trucks currently in production include the Chevrolet Silverado which is the latest in Chevys line of full size pickups and has been in production since 1999, the Chevrolet Avalanche which is four door sport utility truck launched in 2001 and still in production to this day and also the Chevrolet Kodiak which is a medium-duty truck that has been in production for around 30 years.
